Using the rich text editor to create hyperlinks on text or images

Using the rich text editor highlight the text or image you want to create a hyper link on. Next click the insert link button (the icon is globe with a small link next to it). A dialog box should pop up asking for the address, you should type in the URL of the page you want to link to. If using copy and paste you may need to use the keyboard shortcut key to paste (CTRL+V). If you want the link to open in a new window check the "open in named window" box and type "_blank" in the box next to this (without the quote marks). Note: the rich text editor might not show correctly in all browsers. You should see a message that explains this in your admin area if this is the case. | |
