HSBC customer address details differ from those collected by EasyWebstore

If you are using HSBC then it is possible that HSBC could collect billing and delivery details that differ from those submitted in EasyWebstore. This can cause problems when processing an order. This all depends on how your HSBC CPI is configured. Your CPI should be configured for "payment details only" otherwise HSBC will try and collected address details from the customer in addition to those already requested by EasyWebstore. The customer is free to submit address information that is not passed back to us from HSBC. This is a limitation of the HSBC callback mechanism. The best solution is to configure your CPI for "payment details only" in your HSBC admin area. | |
